We love to travel and found our enjoyment of photography in California, the L.A. - Santa Monica area. After taking pictures of the sunsets, beaches, and piers we realized photography was for us. Elan (Jedd's sister in law's company) is what really launched us into the wedding photography business. She sent us bookings and helped grow our business. She also gave us the name of another Las Vegas based photographer named Joe at Cache Media Works. We worked under him for a while as assistants, learning a lot about the industry. We were married at Mt. Charleston Hotel in Las Vegas on April 22nd 2006. After our honeymoon in Jamaica we moved to Queen Creek Arizona, Jedd's hometown. We have started a new life in Queen Creek. Since the move we have further developed our skills as photographers. We met another photographer, Gino Lucadamo of Story by Photo and learned a wealth of knowledge from him. Blake Slade Photographers also has a website and Blog showcasing our work. Our Equipment: 2 Nikon D200s 1 Nikon D70 (backup) 1 70-200 VR Nikkor Lens 1 17-55 DX Nikkor Lens 1 28-105 Sigma 3 SB-800 Flashes A Couple filters 20 Powerex AA Batteries, and 14 GB of compact flash cards. That's it... exactly what we use to create the magic. We are wedding photographers in Phoenix, AZ, or pretty much any other city in Arizona like Mesa, Tucson, Prescott, strawberry, flagstaff, Sedona, Pinetop, Yuma, Payson. Our passion is shooting weddings in the Caribbean, being a Caribbean Wedding Photographer, Cancun Wedding Photographer, and Jamaica Wedding Photographer is our dream. We also do wedding photography in a Las Vegas, Casi really enjoys the time we spend there. We are Arizona wedding photographers. This is the state we live in and there is no charge to travel anywhere inside it. We are Nevada wedding photographers. This is the state we used to live in so the travel charges would be minimal. We enjoy being part of the Arizona Photographer's clubs.
